How to Join
Join 4-H
Anyone who is in third grade to one year past high school graduation can be in 4-H. Younger children can join 4-H as Cloverbuds. Cloverbuds are in first or second grade. Some counties may offer Cloverbud membership to 5 year old Kindergartners. Your county UW-Extension 4-H youth development staff member can answer your specific questions. They can also help you find a club in your area or help you start a new one.
Interested? These are the next steps for youth:
1. Call or email the UW-Extension, 4-H Youth Development Office in your County
2. Visit some local club meetings
3. Choose a club that is right for your family
4. Attend your first club meeting and complete member enrollment materials
5. Have fun with 4-H. Enjoy the new experiences and opportunties
